System Administrator

In your role as System Administrator you are mainly responsible for the administration and operation of test and production server, being able o work with the latest IT technologies ( Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes).

This includes besides technical expertise at operating system level, also advanced operation topics like automation or application configuration.

Task & Responsibilities

• Provisioning and administration of cloud and on-premise environments 
• Installation of software such as application servers, database servers, web servers and storage devices
• Maintenance and Improvements of the existing automation processes
• Monitoring of system operation
• Data backup and data security
• First and second level support for our employees

Competencies and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or vocational training with relevant working experience desirable
• Very good knowledge of the operating systems Linux, Windows
• Good understanding of infrastructure operations in cloud environments
• Good analytical and problem solving skills, and good communication skills
• Experience in working in an ITIL process conform environment
• Experience with development and automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes is a plus
• Basic database competency
• High proficiency in written and spoken English and/or official language of respective country
• Customer oriented, self-motivated mindset
