Business Consultant for Compliance and Non-Financial Risk Management

Ideal Candidate in general

• Ambition to design and implement a future oriented, effective and efficient Data and Technology Driven Compliance and Non-Financial Risk Management 
• Beginner or advanced level of experience in the field of Compliance and Non-Financial Risk Management (Governance, Organization, Processes, Applications and Operations) 
• Coverage of one or more of the following Non-Financial Risks – please see below specification 
• Technical background (Compliance IT-infrastructure, applications and data management incl. data exchange methods) – please see below specification 
• German and/or English on advanced level (minimum C1) 
• Bachelor or master’s degree in Economics/IT/Finance 
• Good analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills and willingness to learn 
• Good time management, planning, and organizational skills 
• Strong adaptability and communication skills 
• Willing to travel in-country and abroad (weekly travel 40 - 80% of working time) 
• Looking for a long-term career growth 
• To be eligible for BearingPoint hiring process – having CZ, Rumanian or EU citizenship. 

Business Consultant Compliance and Non-Financial Risk Management  

• Expertise in one or more of the following Non-Financial Risk types as Money Laundering, Sanctions/ Embargos, Fraud/ABC, Capital Markets Compliance (especially Trade Surveillance), Data Privacy, Information Security, Business Continuity and Sustainability 
• Knowledge of elements of modern Compliance Management and Standards as Strategy & Culture, Risk assessment, Target Operating Model (TOM), Internal Controls, Processes, Training and Reporting 
• Strong customer oriented analytical skills and the ability to transform regulations and regulatory requirements into business functionalities and compliance measures 
• Curiosity to transfer innovations and new technologies into compliance and non-financial risk management approaches 
• Sound understanding on data analytics 
• Attitude for hands-on support of operational compliance and non-financial risk management processes 
• Generation of common understanding according to customer´s requirements/expectations and their feasibility during the project duration. 

Technical Consultant Compliance and Non-Financial Risk Management  

• Knowledge of the technical part of compliance related processes as Know-Your-Customer/ Vendor/ Employee and monitoring/screening of products, transactions (payments, securities, …) 
• Understanding of IT architecture, application and data management with focus of compliance and non-financial risk management 
• Knowledge of compliance related applications as Transaction Monitoring/Screening, Governance-Risk-Compliance (GRC) platforms, AI technology and Robotics 
• Experience in software development, evaluation and implementation incl. testing (e.g. with HP ALM) 
• Understanding of data exchange technologies and interfaces 
• Expertise in current technologies as Java, Oracle, IBM Websphere etc. 
• Curiosity and first experiences for new technologies as Cloud technology, Event-streaming, Machine Learning and AI 
• Customer oriented attitude and strong analytical skills 
• Identification of processual and/or IT-architectural vulnerabilities and creation of corresponding solution possibilities
