As someone looking to build on their foundation level skills, we will offer support and training / development. The primary purpose of this position is to deploy releases as per schedule and within budget. From this position you will spend most of your time planning, testing, tracking, release, deployment, communication, and risk management.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Plan and oversee the release of project deliverables, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.

  • Act as the primary liaison between development, QA, infrastructure, and business teams to communicate release-related tasks, plans, timelines, and requirements.

  • Coordinate release schedules, considering third-party applications, defect backlogs, planned releases, and infrastructure updates. Manage resources required for successful releases.

  • Identify and manage risks that could delay releases, ensuring the scope, schedule, and quality of the release are maintained.

  • Lead Go-Live activities, ensuring the successful deployment of software and services.

  • Collaborate with development teams to build and maintain automation tools used for software development and deployment.

  • Maintain and improve documentation on release processes, dependencies, and key notifications to ensure transparency and accountability.

  • Proactively suggest and implement improvements to software configuration management methodologies, enhancing the efficiency and reliability of the release process.

  • Ensure service performance meets SLAs and KPIs, overseeing system monitoring and managing operational tasks to maintain infrastructure and application stability while driving continuous improvements.

  • Lead incident management, resolve critical issues, conduct root cause analysis, and analyze performance data to provide key insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

Your Profile:

  • A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent education or work experience in software development.

  • Experience working with DevOps and Agile methodologies.

  • Working knowledge of the Software Development Life-cycle.

  • Expertise in computer programming.

  • Strong team, time management, and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Nice to have: Experience with Application Release Automation tools such as ElectricFlow, Puppet Enterprise, Buildmaster, and Visual Studio Release Management.
